Crisul Repede is one of the most famous rafting rivers in Romania. The easy rafting route and renowned natural scenery makes it a popular turistic objective for groups and even for families with children. Rafting can be organized with 2 or 6 person boats.
How to get there: By car on E60 from Cluj or Oradea, by train from the same directions
Meeting point: Bratca village, at the bridge on the Crisul Repede river
Trips: Bratca-Vadu Crişului, 16 km, 3 hours
Difficulty level: WW I-II(easy)
Characteristics
Crisul Repede flows from the Apuseni Mountains (Gilau mt), crosses the Huedin basin passes trough Huedin, Ciucea, Ales and Oradea. It is a tributary of Tisa river. It runs trough a limestone gorge, with huge cliffs, caves and beautyful landscape.
